Distribution of butterfly valves with double eccentric flanges in West Africa
With more than 30 years of expertise on the African continent, Interhydro is specialised in the field of drinking water supply in more than 30 countries, including Niger and Mali.
The double eccentric butterfly valve makes it possible to control the flow when the valve is positioned in a more or less closed position. Unlike other types of valves (on/off valve for example), even in a slightly open position, this valve allows the flow to be controlled.
Then, thanks to the format of the flanged valve, its main advantage lies in the fact that we can remove the pipework downstream of the butterfly valve without emptying the pipework upstream, after having closed the valve using a handwheel or square drive for example.
Finally, Interhydro has a wide range of diameters for this compact and lightweight model (from DN 150 to DN 3000), which enables it to assist many customers in their pipe sectioning projects.
