Cast iron Y-strainer for drinking water
The Y-strainer is used to protect the pipelines from impurities in the plant. This control device is often placed downstream of the pipe, allowing it to retain all kinds of impurities.
The operating mode is relatively simple. When the fluid containing particles comes into contact with the strainer, only the particles are retained in the strainer, allowing the water to flow freely. Once the particles have been collected, all we have to do is remove the sealing flange to remove them.
The sieve filter can be used on drinking water supply networks, but also on sewage networks and for irrigation as well. Depending on the manufacturer, the operating temperature ranges from -10 to +80°C.
