DI swing check valve for drinking water supply

The easy-to-maintain swing check valve is composed of a disc that swivels on an axle or hinge. As the water pressure increases and the fluid flows through the valve, the disc lifts off its seat. When the pressure decreases, the disc folds down onto its seat and blocks the flow of medium. 

There are many different types of check valves. One example is lever and counterweight check valves. These not only improve the overall performance of the check valve but are also more suitable for pipes and installations with a high risk of water hammer. Lever and spring check valves perform best at high pressure or high flow velocities. 

In order to guarantee the good maintenance of the check valve and more specifically the maintenance of its disc, we recommend you install it in a place where maintenance personnel will be present.
